Default PUAL Think Tank

Welcome to the PUALifestyle Think Tank.

As is the purpose with most contemporary, for-profit thinktanks, the objective is to pool any questions, doubts, ideas, theories, solutions, problems, insights, and any other mental asset you generate, and pool them all here.

Ideally, a person will post their problem, idea, question, or other mental asset, and anyone (preferrably everyone) can (and should) post their thoughts, responses, arguments, support, or other complimenting mental asset on the table.

Said poster can also add problems or solutions ALONG with the intended question, and everyone can answer or add to those.

So, I will start off with this (Quotes and/or text color change for Thinktank intellectual properties recommended.

I think that the PUA scene had already hit its peak, so it is at a plateau or even in a decline. The top sites a littered with members asking the same questions week in and week out, but for ourselves we are a smaller, tighter knit group, I wouldnt mind a little more activity and some more faces and posts, but I am not an internet wizard and dont know how to make that happen. I like that this is still primarily focused on women and how to play the game, its just that after a while the same members have already said what they need to say, asked what they needed to ask, and after a while, unless you are actively out there gaming, you really arent bringing anything new aside from advice.

Agreed. We've hit a limitation. We've covered just about everything that needed covering.

...but, what haven't we covered? What is still up for debate? What can we find out, or experiment with? There's always something more to push forward with.

For example, it can be said that people are who they are, and that one person cannot fully have the talents others do. But I say "What if...". What IF a person can dig through their being, and literally "activate" that switch they believed didn't exist. We are advised to refer to negativity as "it doesn't exist", so that positivity can flow. We can choose to make things existent. If so, why not consider the fact that ALL of us have skills in us existent, and that they are merely hidden within all of us?

Great question, from my limited experience in my life, Im going to use my example of what I know. I go clubbing every week, my buddy is a natural, he leaves the clubs with 2-3 numbers every time we go, hes in a little "relationship" right now, but he usually kiss closes as well. Myself, I am not at that level. Now I will say that, that is his "talent", I dont possess that talent currently, but since the new year, I have been pushing my boundaries and hopefully achieve what he is achieving. I have seen him go from a wall flower to the natural that he is. It started with not giving a fuck and just doing it. I had a problem with that because I am a type b personality, shy kid all of my life and he was opposite, so his transition is a lot easier than mine. When I am out, I constantly battle my inner self and literally force myself to do things I am not necessarily comfortable with. But with that experience comes confidence, after a couple approaches and rejections, I got through and it just took that one success for my confidence to build. Granted it was just dancing, I felt the attraction, the physical cues were there. That 5 minute or so span ignites that switch for the rest of the night, I literally go from, damn Im getting rejected, to I can do this, keep the ball rolling. And I rolled that damn ball all night. So yes, I think that switch can be turned on. Ive been clubbing every weekend since the new year and I feel I am getting better and better each week. I will report back friday because I am going out tomorrow night.

I just wanted to say that I can totally relate to this.

By constantly challenging my inner self, and pushing my limits, I was able to break out of my shell. Once you taste the sweet success that confidence brings... it's like a domino effect.

Sometimes you just need to man up and do things that take you out of your comfort zone. You'll never look back.

Good post.

Thanks.

Problem.. Excessive ball sweat, including on and around the scrotum. How do you handle this?

Jesus, I love how everyone is taking this seriously =\.
(BTW, Nick, get some Under Armor boxers. They absorb sweat, and they are quite comfy).

I'm serious about the baby powder.

What about attitude? Good? Bad? What type of attitude?

ELABORATE?

Attitude needs to be easy going, but effective. Something that can be productive, without being cripplingly serious. Needs to be go getting, goal oriented, but can take a break.

I have an uncle who's arrogant and beyond cocky. He is lucky to have the job that he does, quite a handful of people like him but is mostly people that are easily manipulated and he has no goals in life as far as I can tell. So in my opinion I would never try to be like him. Is a waste of energy, lonely and blinding since your ego is so up your ass that you won't listen and see the opportunities that arise for you
