Question No more street smart

I believe that the younger generation are loosing "street smarts". It could be that with this new technology such as twitter, facebook, youtube kids are evolving to a more modern way of "street smarts". Or thanks to other variables they are becoming lazy, dumb, and dull which cuts them from opportunities to get some knowledge from the streets. Now what is street smarts?

Well in Mexico we call it TRUCHA, VIVO pretty much make decision based on logic. But this decision are got to be made fast, looking are all the variables, and coming a bit from the gut. Its thinking fast in your feet but with your hearth at the same time.

But it goes beyond that. You have principals, foundation, and you build character. A principal can be as simple as never bail on a game of TAG, from something like not been a snitch or Brotherhood. All this principals lay the foundation of You which build your character.

I'm even gonna go a step further and say that Street Smart is a feeling. I have no clue why I'm writing this, What I'm trying to get across, or if I'm saying makes any sense, the only thing that I will say is that this feeling I have inside is sensing that this Street Smart thing is going down the drain and going FAST.

Street smart will never go down. No matter how avid you are with current technology such as Twitter, Facebook, etc. Real success is interdependent and only humans can help you get there, computers can not.

I have aptly tanked with internet dates because I could not relate to the people in real life after sitting behind a friggin' screen.
MSN, Hyves, FaceBook... the messsaging system gets your brain in gear, but the Live interaction, people in a bar, in a classroom, that trains the brain speed.
