Default Let's do this

Let's get things started up again in here. I believe we're all pretty much on the same boat here now regarding our dabbling into the PU world a while back, at least for me anyways, and I think it's time for this small forum community to take a step towards whatever it is we think we should be as Men. What do you guys say about holding each other accountable for commitments that we vow to make on a weekly basis? I'm going to do it regardless, and if anyone else would like to join me, by all means, respond and lets see where the path leads to.

Nick K, what's up bro?

I'm back in the swing of things as well. You commit, I'll commit twice as much.

Sound good?

I'm going to be out of town this weekend, but before I leave I'm going to make a weekly spreadsheet to post here that shows what I want to get done on a daily/weekly basis. All I plan on doing this week is making that spreadsheet, until I get back. I'll also come up with how long I want to keep this commitment as well.

I really want to live the principle of constant self improvement. I don't want to stagnate like I have in the past. I need to sit down and figure out in what way I can measure and record this progress (or lack of it).

I need to rape my body, so hard that it is in agony and has to recover. Thus making it endure hardship and becoming harder and sleeker. In normal words, im going to work out a lot.

If you want some inspiration, you need not look any further then this incredibly sexy instructor. She's got an incredible body, and teaches you how to get one as well. I love the routines she has and has been great for me too with quick results.

ALright, so I'm back in town from my vacation and am ready to get this thing started. All I'm going to do is put up a checklist of a weekly, or maybe daily, spreadsheet of intentions. Simple.

The things I plan on being on my spreadsheet for tomorrow

Daily
- take shot of wheatgrass
- eat organic at least one meal
- no cigarettes

- workout cardio 2 days, strength 3 days
- no alcohol 6 out of 7 days

Hopefully I will be feeling results within a few days

Dude, I thought youd quit the cigarettes? I wouldnt trust me enough to go on them in the start, now after studying them in university, and the methods of quitting and how hard it is, i wouldnt touch one with a 50ft barge poll.

For me, id have.
- Once my foot has recovered resume gym like normal
- Eat a solid meal at least twice a day.
- Try and do 2 social events a week, like big social events like parties n stuff.

I've been going around the forum all day trying to get some more discussion up. Patrick (formerly CallMeLucid on PUAL) is moving in with me in a week and I'd like to see more involvement from everyone so we'll be helping to lead that charge. See everyone around the forums.

Welcome back CallmeLUcid, totally remember ya. But yeah, I've been under the weather for the past week! Longest I have ever been sick for. CHanging my diet and abruptly quitting smoking has caused quite a reaction and detoxification has put me down for the count for a few days.

So far:

Dec 22nd - Dec 30th

Quit smoking entirely: yes
Go to Gym everyday: everyday that I was healthy, yes
Shot of wheatgrass everyday: only about 5 times
Get enough sleep: yes
Practice Twin Hearts Meditation daily: Did every day I was healthy
Eat organic once every day: epic fail
Get pranic healing once a week: did once out of two weeks

I'm not CallMeLucid, that's my roommate (as of next week) but hope you get better, Nick. Those goals look good. And its great to see you're getting them all done. My only real goal for the week is to make about $300 or so from poker (I play online) and cash a bit out and then to read as much of Awaken the Giant within on Saturday when I fly cross country home :-)

Hey, I just jumped back on the board, heard it was picking up again and wanted to help get the ball rolling again. Out of the blue, my friend invited me to the gym with him, and instead of being an anti-social nerd again, I've decided to accept it, and im heading to the gym tomorrow.

I've had a feeling since this year started (all of 3 days ) that this year is going to be a radical life changing one, in a good way

Happy New Year!

Good for you man. Yeah, I can't even begin to explain how much my life has changed just over the past week and a half. It has been tremendous, and I expect it to continue to be so. I'll write about it later though, gotta clean my room and go do my routine. Ain't having enough energy to be productive a bitch?

Alright, totally feeling this! And I want to add something; accountability.
We have our commitments, now, let's get some leverage on ourselves!
When we reach our objectives we reward ourselves, if we don't reach our objectives, we "punish" ourselves.
Here's how I go about it:
Make a list of 10 things you love to do (skate, play guitar, surf, play poker, etc.) or want (new pair of pants, Tshirt, Jacket, CD's, etc).
Make a list of 5 things you hate to do.
If you reach your objectives, you can choose ONE item of the 10 things you love to do or want.
If you don't reach your objectives, someone else (a friend or someone from the forum) chooses ONE item of the 5 things you hate to do.

Agree?

- finish checking: 1 exam, 3 reports, finish e-test on ELE, planning - just the exam, didn't have more time

- study planning chapters for Biomechanics, work on assignments - check
- do 4 bodyrock workouts - did 3
- clean house: take down Xmas tree - not yet
- take up the KJ-challenge again - not yet

Didn't hang out, tried to study, didn't really work, I needed a lot of sleep. Worked more than I had to. Found that I'm taking too many commitments. So I want to finish what I started first, then take on new commitments.

so, for this week.
- check 3 reports, test on ELE, planning, plan TSM
- do 4 bodyrock.tv workouts
- clean house, take down Xmas tree
- work on theory of assignments for Biomechanics

Default Week 4, Januari 25-31

Last week I got a revisit of some of the effects of last year's wry-neck (acute torticollis).
- check 3 reports, test on ELE, planning, plan TSM test didn't work for some reason, planning is done
- do 4 bodyrock.tv workouts did 1 because of neck
- clean house, take down Xmas tree cleaned kitchen, saving xmas tree for replanting
- work on theory of assignments for Biomechanics check

This week, I have to be careful, lot of rest because of my neck.
Need to do:
- make tests for retakes
- finish checking reports and 1 test
- finish biomechanics assignments
- planning for 3rd quarder studies
Nice to do:
- book surftrip to Portugal
- invite people to join on trip
- look at sister's new house
- sauna on Sunday
